Stepney Print

This print shows the classic lines of this famous engine, as she looked when outshopped from Brighton Works in 1875. Note the wooden brake blocks,the lack of power braking systems and the condensing gear with its distinctive pipes from the smokebox to the water tanks. This was designed to economise on the use of water, very helpful on a small engine!
