Jack the Station Cat and the Snail Trail
Alan Cliff's new story is unusual in that it features Vandal, the cat that lives in the Bluebell's shop. On arrival at Tail's End, Vandal introduces himself as "feline librarian and researcher at Sheffield Park station". He explains that he has come to Tail's End because he is researching the work of station snails.
The story is illustrtated by Nigel Cliff and there are some puzzles at the end of the book. Half of the author's royalties go to the charity Save the Family.
