Pullman Pride
The photographs in this softback book are mainly taken from the archive of E.J. Morris who was once Company Secretary of the Pullman Car Company. The book has been compiled by his son John together with Antony Ford, curator of the Pullman Society.
There are many photographs of the cars' sumptuous interiors and their elegant exteriors as well as lineside shots of Pullman trains at speed. Pullman became a hallmark of quality and was borrowed by, for example, the York Pullman bus company and the Humber Pullman limousine. Noodle Books, 2007, 92 pages. Paperback.
