The Lambourn Branch Revisited
In 1984, together with Roger Simmonds, Kevin Robertson wrote a history of the Lambourn branch which, he confesses, he never actually visited. Now, twenty four years later, he has devised this successor which includes material discovered since the first book was published.
There are personal reminiscences from men who worked on the line along with many photographs, some of them in colour. This book will appeal to GWR enthusiasts, of course, and also to anyone who remembers the great days of the rural railways.
