Anniversary Stepney Decorative Plate
As is well known, Stepney was the Bluebell's first locomotive arriving under its own power in May 1960, hauling the Society's first two coaches, having travelled via Haywards Heath, Ardingly and Horsted Keynes.
This significant event was recreated in May this year at Horsted Keynes in the presence of our President, Bernard Holden, M.B.E. The carriage No. 55 is seen hauling is a Maunsell Brake Composite, No. 6575.
This pleasing memento would look particuarly attractive displayed alongside alongside our 50th Anniversary plate.
