The Longparish Branch Line on BlueBell Railway Shop

Originally part of a line which joined Hurstbourne, west of Basingstoke, to the line between Andover and Redbridge. Passenger services ended in 1931 but freight traffic continued until 1956. Peter Harding looks at the history of this railway backwater.
